The yellow-breasted apalis can be seen in many habitats including forest edge, thickets and gardens, often in the canopy, feeding on insects. These birds were photographed in Tarangire, Ruaha, Yaida Valley, Ngare Naibor and Tanga. The 7th row immature was seen at Mbuyuni Farm (4-20), courtesy of Kim Axmann.
