The endemic East African foxy lark was recently split from the south African fawn-coloured lark. It is longer than the fawn-coloured lark and the ranges do not overlap. The upper photo was taken at Mwiba (3-18). The two adults in the 2nd row were photographed in Tarangire (5-08). The immature (left 3rd row) was seen at Lobo (9-08). The juveniles (right 3rd row & left lower) were seen at Mbiwa Ranch and the right lower adult, at Manyara Ranch Conservancy (11-11), all 3 courtesy of Colin Beale. Click the photo above to see 18 enlargements including a nest, juveniles, immatures and a leucistic bird.
