The two-banded courser is small (24 cm) with its distinctive two narrow black bands. It is usually found in grassland or bushed grassland, often in pairs or small groups. Both 2nd row photos (Tarangire, 3-15) are courtesy of Stuart Webb. The juvenile (3rd row) was photographed at Lake Eyasi (7-08). The seated adult was in Tarangire NP (1-08), courtesy of Steve Dolberg. The others were seen in Engikaret and Tarangire.
